OddsTrader Privacy Policy Effective date: 10/8/2026
This policy explains what information the OddsTrader app ("the app"), published by CITDates, collects and how it is used. The app does not require an account, and we do not sell your information.
Information the app collects
Usage and crash data. The app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the app is used and to fix problems. This includes which screens are opened, how long the app is used, crash reports, device model, iOS version, app version, and a random identifier created for the app on your device. This data is not linked to your name or email, and it is not used for advertising or to track you across other apps or websites. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy: https://policies.
Market symbols you look up. To show prices, charts, the 200-day trend phase and options levels, the app requests market data for the symbols you enter from Yahoo Finance. Yahoo receives these requests like any website visit, including your device's IP address. See Yahoo's privacy policy: https://policies.
Information that stays on your device
Watchlists, settings and the AI Analyzer's readings are stored and calculated on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync for watchlists, they are stored in your own iCloud account by Apple. We cannot see them. When you ask Siri to analyze a symbol, the request is handled by Apple and by the app on your device.
Signal alerts. If you turn on signal alerts, the app checks your watchlist symbols in the background after the market close and shows a notification on your device when one gets a new Buy or Sell signal. These are local notifications created on your device; no push service is used and no information is sent to us.
Purchases and subscriptions
OddsTrader Pro subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive your name, payment details, or Apple ID. Apple only tells the app whether a subscription is active. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
Other websites
The User Guide tab opens a web page. That website has its own privacy policy.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
You can stop all data collection by deleting the app. To ask about or request deletion of data collected through Firebase, contact us with the form below.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
